Dr. Charles provides diagnostic audiologic services, audiologic assessments, hearing aid evaluations, and hearing aid fittings and management. She is a clinical educator in the doctorate of audiology clinical practicum. Prior to joining the Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences department in 2018, she worked in both the medical and private practice settings, as well as, being a clinical supervisor for both the University of Pittsburgh and Loyola University Maryland. She served as the Audiology Supervisor for the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Institute’s Cleft Palate Program and Loyola’s Brain Injury Assessment Program. She is currently licensed in the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland.
