Long-time community development worker in Southeast Asia, with deaf communities and non-profit agencies. Training in applied anthropology, qualitative research methods, and the foundations and policy of education especially in language-minority settings.
Planning and oversight for Gallaudet's programs in research support and in international affairs, under the guidance of the university's Provost.
Serves as the university's Senior International Officer.
Formerly taught Project Design in Developing Nations" for Gallaudet's International Development master's program.
- Co-chair of Gallaudet's lead committee in the Internationalization Laboratory of the American Council on Education (2017-19)

Fluent in Thai, Thai Sign Language, American Sign Language, and English.
I have participated in various research projects on early childhood socialization and language development, notably Signs of Literacy. Have been a key person in the design, writing, and operation of numerous grants involving training, community empowerment, and education activities in Southeast Asia. Funding from a variety of sources, including UNESCO, World Bank, and foundations.
