Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Graduated high school from Edna Karr Magnet in 1993. 

From there, I moved to Florida to pursue my degree in Deaf/Elementary Education from Flagler College and started working at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind (Elem Dept/Gore Hall) (1997-1999). 

After receiving my BA degree, I moved to Washington, DC and started graduate school in the Dept of Counseling (2000). I received my MA degree in May 2002 from the Doc in Guidance Counseling. 

My employment history is as follows: 

Florida School for the Deaf and Blind (1997-1999) 

Louisiana School for the Deaf (2002-2005) 

Model Secondary School for the Deaf (2005-2007)

Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (2008-2016)

Gallaudet University Graduate Admissions Office (2016-Present) 

In addition to working for Gallaudet University, I am also a Licensed Realtor for Keller Williams Realty. I am licensed in DC, Virginia and also Maryland. 

I live in the District with my two boys, Sebastian and Reese, my husband, Jason Foster & our german shepard, LuLu.

My current role at Gallaudet University is Graduate Admissions Counselor for the Graduate School. I truly love helping people and love being a part of this amazing graduate admissions team! 

Served as an active member of the GSC (Graduate Staff Council)  2014-2016 

Served as an active member on the University President's Council  2012-2014 

Served as a Disaster Relief Counselor/Red Cross for the Deaf Victims of Hurricane Katrina  2005
