Benefits Overview for Employees

This virtual workshop is for regular status employees.

Do you remember your benefits orientation? It must have been overwhelming with all the information that was shared. Although there is information on the Human Resources (HR) website as well as regular email announcements from HR, it can still be overwhelming. You may be unaware how much the University is contributing towards your benefits (such as about 70% towards your health insurance). You may not be aware that you can obtain a loan from Thrift Savings Plan. You also may not know that FERS will enable you to earn a lifetime annuity and keep your health/life/dental/vision insurance after retirement. 

This is an opportunity to obtain a benefits overview and you will have an opportunity to ask questions during the virtual workshop. The virtual workshop will be held on May 12 and May 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. ET. To register, please send an email to benefits@gallaudet.edu. Hope to see you there!
