Daily Digest to become Gallaudet Digest, distribution once weekly

Note: Due to some delays, the Gallaudet Digest will begin October 21, 2019. Until that date, the Daily Digest will run twice a week as usual, on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Beginning October 21, the Daily Digest will be transformed into the Gallaudet Digest, and the formatting will change.

What will the new e-newsletter look like?

You will receive the Gallaudet Digest on Mondays, other than holidays, and the Gallaudet Digest will include carefully curated events or happenings that will take place during that week.

What does that mean for me? Do I change how I submit announcements?

You should submit announcements one or two weeks in advance, so we have time to curate and select announcements that will be featured on the Gallaudet Digest. You can continue to submit announcements and events as you always have.

What about announcements on

Announcements will continue to run on When you select the five run dates, that is when they will show up on, so select with care.

What about calendar events?

They will continue to show up on the Calendar. You can continue submitting calendar events.

What about Featured Photos/Photo of the Day?

You can submit Featured Photos for consideration to be run on the slideshow. To do that, please click the blue "Submit" button underneath the photo slideshow on the main page. Please note: All photos must be cropped and resized to 848x477. To achieve this, open the Photoshop application on your computer, crop to 848x477, then resize to 848x477, then save.

Keep in mind that in addition to the Gallaudet Digest, other campus-wide announcements will share upcoming events. You can also subscribe individually to announcements. You can also brush up on our guidelines
