Three Gallaudet Information Technology (IT) majors (Hailey Schmidt, Minnie Buenaventura and Ganbayar Ganbaatar), and coach, Dr. Raja Kushalnagar, IT director, created an innovative product called "Deaf 360". This accessible technology product records a group of people conversing in ASL, and displays large views of whoever is signing. The team were selected to participate in the competitive National Science Foundation's "Deaf College Bowl Competition" (DCIB). DCIB awarded them $3000 to develop the idea and product.
