Gallaudet staff and faculty attend National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) 61st annual meeting

Gallaudet staff  and faculty from the Office of Sponsored Programs, Graduate School and Continuing Education, College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office, Ph.D. in Educational Neuroscience, Deaf Health Communication and Quality of Life Center, Art/Communication/Theater, Technology Access Program, and the Contracts and Purchasing Office attended the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) 61st Annual Meeting on August 5-7, 2019 in Washington, D.C.  They attended a wide variety of sessions covering all aspects of grants management and research administration.  The cohort's participation in the conference was made possible by a Professional Development Program grant from Human Resources Services.  During the Fall semester, the cohort will meet to discuss what they learned during the conference and how it can be applied to help establish "Gallaudet as the epicenter of research development and outreach leading to advancements in knowledge and practice for deaf and hard of hearing people and all humanity."
