Information for researchers: The Office of Sponsored Programs presents "Did You Know?"

Did you know that the National Science Foundation (NSF) will be updating their biographical sketch format? Beginning with the next iteration of the NSF Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG), which is anticipated to be released in January 2020, NSF will only accept PDFs for biographical sketches that are generated through an NSF-approved format. The National Institutes of Health’s SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) has been designated as an NSF-approved format for submission of biographical sketch(es).  NSF applicants are encouraged to use SciENcv to prepare their biographical sketch for inclusion in proposals. You can find multiple training resources on the SciENcv website.

Grants and research contracts are integral to establishing "Gallaudet as the epicenter of research development and outreach leading to advancements in knowledge and practice for deaf and hard of hearing people and all humanity." A central component of Gallaudet University's mission is the enhancement of faculty and staff opportunities for creative and scholarly research and training. If you have a question about the grant writing process, or if you have an idea or concept and would like to discuss potential grant opportunities, please contact Audrey Wineglass Foster at audrey.foster@gallaudet.edu. We look forward to meeting and working with you.
