Prince Ibrahima Sori and Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet

This is the true story of an African prince captured and sold into slavery in Mississippi, where he remained enslaved for more than 40 years before the convergence of benevolent forces, including Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet, intervened to secure his release and repatriation.

This Black History Month event will be held in the Foster Auditorium from 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
