School Psychology Program to offer three-year program specialist degree

Gallaudet University's School Psychology Program offers a three-year Specialist degree in school psychology. Most of our graduates work in public schools with deaf and hard of hearing programs in public schools, schools for the deaf, and hearing children in public schools. 

NASP-Approved and NCATE Accredited

  • Subspecialty in working with deaf children and their families
  • Emphasis on diversity issues
  • Experienced faculty and a proud history of training strong professionals
  • Immersion in deaf culture and a very unique campus experience
  • Opportunity to learn and strengthen sign language skills (advanced and new signers are equally welcome)
  • M.A. in Developmental Psychology with successful completion of the first year
  • Scholarships and assistantships available to qualified students
