Support services available for DeafBlind individuals

The Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind will continue to offer services to DeafBlind individuals such as:

  • Assistive Technology Equipment and Training for low-income D.C. residents
  • Independent Living Skills for D.C. residents
  • Braille lessons for D.C. residents
  • Support Service Providers (SSPs) for residents of Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Arlington Counties
  • Sighted individuals trained as SSPs can also sign up to become SSPs (paid)
