"2019 Washington Mandela Fellows" presentation

2019 Washington Mandela Fellows Mr. Hailemarkos "Haile" Dimir is a Deaf Ethiopian who graduated in Social Work from Addis Ababa University.  He recently earned his MBA at Gage Collage.  Mr. Dirmir has more than 5 years of experience working with people with disability from urban to desert refugee contexts as a Social worker, Mr. Dimir is installing a project aimed on entrepreneurship, deaf awareness, socioeconomic inclusion of the deaf and assertiveness for the deaf and hard of hearing at the crossroad of multiple ethnic groups in northeastern part of Ethiopia where disability in particular; the deaf gains little or no attention from governmental or social institutions; violence and negligence for disability is prevalent.
