Design Thinking 101 flyer

Description

Thinking like a designer can transform the way people and organizations develop products, services, processes, and strategy. This approach, which is called design thinking, brings together what is desirable from a human point of view with what is technologically feasible and economically viable. Design thinking is a process for creative problem solving. Design thinking utilizes elements from the designer's toolkit like empathy and experimentation to arrive at innovative solutions.

We are bringing a trainer to Gallaudet to teach you how to use design thinking to solve problems and think creatively! We will provide pizza for dinner and students will be trained in how to do rapid experimentation. Students will put this training to use immediately by helping brainstorm and create accessible study abroad programs for Gallaudet Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and Hard of Hearing students. We hope to see you there!

This event is co-sponsored by Education Abroad and Gallaudet's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute
