Language Deprivation Lecture Series: "Three Myths that Perpetuate Language Deprivation"

Description

Come join us every Friday for critical conversations about Language Deprivation. This week's lecture, "Three Myths that Perpetuate Language Deprivation", by Dr. Deborah Chen Pichler from the linguistics department, will examine three particularly persistent myths that continue to circulate and influence parents' language choices for their deaf and hard of hearing children, as well as explore ways of disseminating accurate information more effectively.

Can't make it this Friday? Join us next week! Weekly lectures every Friday, 10-11:15 a.m., feature community leaders and research experts from diverse disciplines addressing the complex, intersectional issues of Language Deprivation.
