    On December 5, 2017, students taking the course INT 453: Interpreting Interactions: Business & Government toured the United States Capitol. Steve Phan, a staff interpreter at the U.S. Capitol guided students on a tour and shared facts and history about various historic rooms. The course was taught by Annie Marks, an adjunct instructor and doctoral candidate, Department of Interpretation and Translation. 

    Pictured here are students standing in the Rotunda of the U. S. Capitol. After the tour, students held a question-and-answer session with the Mr. Phan to learn about his experiences as a staff interpreter. The class is taught
