    Mark A. Halley, ’14, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Interpretation and Translation (DoIT), presented his dissertation research in Amsterdam this month. Halley’s talk was titled "Interpreting Protest: Examining American Sign Language-English Interpreters in the Deaf President Now protest."

    The conference, "Connecting to the Masses – 100 Years from the Russian Revolution: From Agitprop to the Attention Economy," gathered scholars from across the globe to explore journalism and popular movements, communist identity, and the media’s impact on social change.
