    On November 30, 2017, Dr. Khadijat Rashid, ’90, interim dean, School of Education, Business, and Human Services, Dr. Audrey Cooper, program director, Masters in International Development (IDMA), and Nichelle Steffen, a graduate student in the IDMA program, gave the keynote address during the launch of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)-UN Volunteers Talent Programme for Young Professionals with Disabilities.

    The title of their presentation was “Young Talent, Leadership Development, and Disability as Human Diversity.” More than 50 UN personnel, governmental and international non-governmental partners, and donor entities participated in the event, representing disability leadership activities around the world.
