On October 1, 2018, Billie Krishawn, an acting teacher from Tectonic Theatre Project, came to visit the Theatre and Dance program to give an insightful workshop on "Moment Work." This was a unique play-creating process that was instrumental towards the development of Tectonic's ground-breaking work on "The Laramie Project." This was a production that they created, which was a stage play and film about the townspeople of Laramie, Wyoming and their reactions to the murder of gay teenager Matthew Shepard.
