I hold a Masters' degree in Mental Health Counseling from Gallaudet University; currently a doctoral student at Union Institute & University studying Interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in Educational Studies and Social Justice; A social justice practitioner and feminist educator using engaged pedagogy in classroom to illuminate discussion and perspectives.

Clinical supervisor for emerging counseling trainees in practicum and internship setting; Teach core COU courses in Family Therapy; Substance Abuse Counseling, & Emotional Behavioral therapy; Licensed to practice professional counseling in the state of Maryland and in the District; holds Approved Clinical Supervisor credential; Graduate students advisor; FoCC member
