Dr. Pick joined the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program in 2009. Previously he taught in the Department of Psychology at Queens College, CUNY, and worked with educational programs for deaf youth and social service agencies for deaf adults. His current research program focuses on the neuropsychological mechanisms underlying cognitive processes in deaf and deaf-blind people. He is on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education and is a reviewer for journals and grant agencies in the areas of behavioral neuroscience and clinical neuropsychology. 

Dr. Pick provides direct care services to deaf, deaf-blind, and hard of hearing children and adults. Currently, he maintains an independent practice providing assessment services (e.g., neuropsychological, psychoeducational) and individual psychotherapy.  He also collaborates with colleagues on the development of community education and health care training programs.
