Short Biography:

Mr. Aciek has been a member of the Department of Business faculty since January 2014. Prior to joining the Department of Business as a full-time faculty, Mr. Aciek served for more than 10 years in various roles within the Division of Administration & Finance at Gallaudet and most recently as a Senior Staff Accountant. He has a lot of experience in accounting for endowments, donations, the required filings of University’s annual tax-reporting, long-term debt and accounting for all Title IV awards. Also, he previously worked as an accounting lab instructor/adjunct professor within the Department of Business.

Mr. Aciek is a native of South Sudan and moved to the United States in 1993 to purse an education at Gallaudet University. He has a heartfelt commitment to education and students’ learning.
